So slack!

I've been so slack lately with my posting. Baby has been full on to say the least. So here are a few more that have been completed since I last posted.

Firstly, a Victorian lady for someone's Victorian theme.

A snooty lady for someone's day at the races theme.

And two lots of inchies for a swap at swap bot. The first were for themes: trees, postcards, dance and black, red and gold.

The second lot were for themes: dogs, sunrise and babies.

I made my first handmade postcard and it survived the local postal system!! If I get a handmade card accepted partner in post crossing, I might try sending one international.

Flavourful Figures and Faces #1

I've decided to commit myself to a project for me, seeing as I'm often disappointed I have to send my ATCs and I never keep my own work. So I'm challenging myself to do a series of Flavoured Figure/Face study ATCs, and the first off the mark is "Strawberry".

I joined a swap for a hand drawn snowman, but feeling a little uninspired (living Down Under there's no it a whole lot of snow), I decided to make a beachy sandman instead. Photo is a little crooked but you get the picture :)

Christmas Rinchies

I've made my first rinchies!! Thought I'd give them a try after seeing some swaps on swap-bot. These ones will go out as little extras for a Christmas Card swap I'm in over there, so if you've come from the Active Aussie Swapaholics group, don't look, LOL!

Would be great on a mini Xmas tree.

New obsession...

...hand drawn ATCs.

It's been a long time since I last blogged. Craft has been hit and miss since having my daughter 3 years ago, but I'm here now.

I discovered Copic markers. About 40-odd markers later (eek) and my drawing skills are getting there.

I've lost my good camera, so the only photos I get at the moment are on my tablet. I'm saving for that camera but baby number 2 in utero may chew up that savings LOL.

Since I fell off the face of the Earth...

...not much has been happening. I know how boring am I? Well my very first project for the year was to create some birthday cards for when work decides to give me that shove again as I stand at the precipice of the Earth looking down. To decode that cryptic, work will be sending me away again this year, so I have to get my stash in order just in case I don't have time.

I whipped up these three lovelies for three lovelies whose birthdays will be coming up in the first half of the year.

The next two lots are going to have to be boys ones. Why are there so many males in my family and my boyfriends! Argh! They're so hard to do! Oh well. Next weekend should be fairly productive as the boy is away doing his hobby stuff, so I can crack on with mine. Yippee!!

Ever feel...

...like you've reached critical mass when papercrafting? I feel like my balloon just popped :( I was getting so into it and now I've woken up today and can't even go into the scrap room. If I were a writer it'd be writers block, so I'm a crafter, hence I must have crafter's block. Things will probably slow down around here til I can convince my mojo to return...

Into April...

...and I have 2 LOs to show you all! Feeling into a variety of stuff lately, cards, ATCs, canvases, OTP, and now back to where it all began, LOs!!

Both were inspired by Scrap Chat N Challenges challenges!

The first was a journalling challenge using song lyrics. I chose to use the chorus of "The Navy Song" by Billy Talent. Anzac Day looming and so many people I know being in the Navy, thought I'd pay homage to it all!!

And a Christmas photo from when my brother and I were children, at a Christmas party for preschool!! This challenge required me to use colours from opposite sides of the colour wheel, so red and green it was!
